Fintan : Fiontan(F'in-tan) m. O Rahilly, thought that this name meant 'the
white ancient' for in Irish Mythology Fintan is credited with having lived
thousands of years. Fintan could also mean 'white fire'.According to an early
source, there are seventy-four Irish saints of this name. The descriped as the
'head of the monks of all Ireland' and whose feast-day is 17 Febuary. A Very
similar name, Fint'an, is considered by some scholars to be the pet-form of the
name in Finn/ such as Finnbarr or Finnchad.
Question Could be Finton's religist name- be Henry??. Maybe since Fintan might
be though Pagan Irish??
